Breakage Insurance for $4 AUD per month
Conditions:
The insurance covers the repair or exchange of the surfboard with Akewatu by the delivery of a “voucher” equivalent to the replacement value up to a limit of $1200 AUD, in the event accidental material damage suffered by the insured property.
- The contract coversnew surfboards (longboard, shortboard, fish, stand up paddle surf ...)
- Duration of the guarantee: 12 months firm from the date of purchase of the board, non-renewable
- Warranty limited to 1 claim
- The warranty is based primarily on the repair of the damaged board whose product covers 100% of the repair costs including tax, with a deductible of $110 AUD
- Replacement will be offered only if the board is determined to be non-repairable or if the board is repairable but the amount of the estimate or repair invoice is equal to or greater than the replacement value.
- The service in the event of replacement is also deducted from a deductible of $110 AUD
